I’m planning out what to use for a junction box (I’ll need several) for my DIY Photovoltaic solar array.
It was suggested to use a 6"x6"x4" plastic box. I’m planning to use 3/4" conduit and a 1/2" water-tight connection to the Enphase trunk cable.
I’ll need 3 junction boxes – one at the end of each row of panels to convert from the engage cable to regular 12 ga wires inside conduit. I should be able to use self-tapping screws to screw these boxes directly to the Iron Ridge XR-100 solar racking.
