A second go at the Tesla Model S ‘full’ pack.
In the last video https://youtu.be/kn7KXj81fdI we communicated with the controller from a Tesla Model S Battery pack. The computer woke up, sent some info then shutdown again.
Here we try it on a computer still in a full pack and whddy’a know? It stayed awake 🙂
-Step 1: Figure out wiring-
-Step 2: Use oscilloscope to look for presence of CAN messages-
-Step 3: Use Collin Kidder’s Savvy CAN & GVRET with a laptop and Arduino to read the CAN-

Step 4: Decode the CAN messages to enable us to control the battery
