How to access & replace the SD card in a Tesla Model S & X MCU1.
The MCU1 has an SD card holding data for navigation systems. It can go bad or get dislodged* but it’s not obvious where to find it to fix it. This video shows you where it is.
Obviously the MCU has to be removed from the car first 🙂
*Or here in New Zealand, allegedly, be deliberately vandalised by the manufacturer to keep their lie about imports not being able to be converted to NZ maps. Do some googling and you’ll find the service easily available on the aftermarket.
