In early 2021, BMC Ride Crew member, Chris Tonge, approached us with the idea to tackle the infamous Badlands ultra-distance gravel race. 750km with over 15000m elevation, crossing the only official deserts in mainland Europe and doing all of this while in a self-supported race? We knew we had to be involved.
This is the story of an epic adventure, of reaching absolute freedom and finding perspective.
The Bike.
