You might know Mark Beaumont as the World Record holder for cycling around the world in an eye watering 79 days, but there’s much more to this multi adventure athlete than that. After riding the length of the United Kingdom from Land’s End to John O’Groats solo aged just 15, it was clear that Scottish athlete Mark Beaumont was born with the desire to adventure coursing through his veins.
Beaumont’s many achievements over the years – all with Shimano cycling components – are mightily impressive, but it’s his attitude towards these challenges and their diversity that makes him so interesting as a rider, a runner, a mountaineer and ocean rower.
