► EN: For several years DT Swiss has been supporting the German cycling team “Embrace The World Cycling”. The team‘s mission is to travel to mostly African countries, combining sportive ambitions with social commitment:
For the team, it’s not just to competing in local bike races, but more importantly, to embrace other cultures and doing social work through sports: To do so, the team collects donations by other cycling enthusiasts, teams and clubs all over Germany and beyond.
These donations are given to riders of African teams in order to support the development of the local cycling sports scene. The gratitude of these riders is hard to put in words.
In spring 2019, the team went to a national stage race in Africa, the “Tour du Togo”. The video documents this trip with mesmerizing shots of the race, encounters with great people and stunning landscapes.
For cycling enthusiasts, this one-hour documentary film is a unique opportunity to experience the unusual sporting event at first hand and to also support the vision of Embrace the World Cycling.
