DYU King 750 Fat Tire Electric Bike

tl;dr version of the written review:

The DYU King 750 is an electric fat tire mountain bike with upgrades in all the right places. Equipped with a powerful 750 nominal watt rear hub motor, this e-bike can reach speeds of up to 28 mph using the half-grip twist throttle or the speed sensing pedal assist. It also boasts a 20 amp hour battery that offers a maximum pedal assist range of about 80 miles and a throttle-only range of almost 50 miles. The battery is removable and locks into the downtube to keep the center of gravity low.

The King 750 has an aluminum frame and weighs almost 100 pounds, but the weight isn’t noticeable when maneuvering through technical terrain or bike courses. The front spring suspension and seat post suspension provide a comfortable ride on pavement and light trails, although the shocks may bottom out on extreme terrain. The 26 inch by 4 inch fat tires also add extra suspension. The e-bike is equipped with front and rear hydraulic disc brakes, offering plenty of stopping power for its high top speed and heavy weight.

The Shimano 7-speed derailleur and Shimano SIS Index thumb shifter are paired in the drivetrain. The King 750 also features an integrated headlight wired directly into the bike’s battery for added visibility, although it may not be bright enough for night rides. The cockpit includes a narrow handlebar, a retro color display with all the usual metrics, and an independent button pad on the left and a half-grip twist throttle and shifter on the right.

DYU offers a 1-year warranty and a 14-day free trial for the King 750, which has a starting price of $2,199 USD but is currently on sale for $1,599 USD. Although it comes in only one size and color (black), the e-bike is a sweet ride with plenty of power, a big battery, and upgrades in critical areas such as the brakes and suspension. It’s an excellent choice for commuters and anyone looking for a comfortable, powerful e-bike for off-road adventures.
