eMTB Riding Tips: Feather Brakes to Set Up for a Climb, with Mark Weir

Braking before a climb might seem counter-intuitive, but it can be a useful tactic when setting up for a technical section of trail. In this video, Mark Weir explains how he feathers his brakes and then uses the torque from his Bosch Performance Line CX electric drive unit to power up climbs while mountain biking.

With an available 85 newton-meters of torque, the award-winning Bosch Performance Line CX pedal-assist (it only delivers power when a rider is pedaling) electric motor creates options for eMTB riders of all abilities.
