EVELO Omega Review - .7k

The EVELO Omega is an attractive looking, very approachable, extremely powerful, step-thru cruiser electric bicycle. The reinforced frame can support up to 350lbs of combined rider and cargo weight. Comfort-oriented upright riding position is achieved with the long cruiser bar and steep stem. High volume 2.8" plus sized tires offer stability, comfort, and include puncture protection. Dynamic mid-drive motor from Dapu measures pedal cadence, torque, and rear wheel speed creating a natural feel. Variable speed trigger throttle offers full power on demand, for easy starts and quick bursts of speed. Automatic shifting ensures you’ll never get stuck in the wrong gear, and the Gates Carbon belt drive is extremely clean, durable, and quiet. Powerful hydraulic disc brakes with adjustable reach levers, motor inhibitors, and brake light activation! The bike includes quality plastic fenders, bright integrated lights, and is setup for easily adding a rear rack and second battery for increased range! Excellent positioning on the locking cylinder and battery charge port, both are up high on the frame. Only available in one frame size and color scheme. The automatic shifting isn’t very adjustable unless you download the optional app or purchase the control pad. The display has limited readouts and no USB charging port. The bike is primarily sold direct to consumer, so there’s some effort and assembly required to unpack it and get things going.
