Walk Mode is a standard feature of the Bosch Performance Line CX (https://www.bosch-ebike.com/us/products/performance-line-cx) eBike motor. It allows riders to activate the electric pedal-assist motor while walking next to the bike. This feature is especially useful when negotiating challenging terrain or any time a rider has to get off their bike and walk next to it on an incline.
While it’s simple to use, there are some tricks and tips to getting the most out of Walk Mode. In this video, Mark Weir, godfather of American enduro riding and eight-time winner of the Downieville Downhill, explains how he uses Walk Mode on his Cannondale Moterra electric mountain bike that’s equipped with the Bosch Performance Line CX drive unit.
