JTC EV TV - Easter 2021 Update

A fresh look for the first video in a while and a more all-encompassing title which works irrespective of my EV activities.

See *** UPDATES / CORRECTIONS *** section below for, erm, updates and corrections.

This video covers the following:

– A catch-up on life with the MG ZS EV so far.
– A visit to the new rapid charger set-up by InstaVolt at the Corley services, Warwickshire, northbound and southbound on the M6, where there are 8 and 7 rapid charging points respectively.
– The return of our Nissan LEAF from my in-laws’ to home, and their own EV plans, having experienced a few months living with an EV for themselves.
Rapid charging made easy at the InstaVolt charge point.
– The new green badge registration plates for electric vehicles only.
– New rules regarding GB and Union flag registration plates no longer requiring GB sticker overseas, and a brief mention of the corresponding 1968 Convention on Road Traffic.
– Bluetooth 12V battery monitor.
– Return to activities as IAM RoadSmart National Observer in light of easing restrictions on travel.
– New Triumph electric motorcycle, the Triumph TE-1.
– Shout-out to a couple of fellow YouTubers, Andrew Till, and fellow electric two wheeler, Sam, of New Zeroland.

*** UPDATES / CORRECTIONS ***
10:02 – Mindfart. The B1203 goes from Market Rasen to New Waltham, not from Louth to New Waltham. I’ve only driven/ridden it countless times!
12:27 – The branding is on the top of the unit at the front and back and on the plug. I didn’t appreciate that ChargePoint was the manufacturer and thought it was stating the obvious. 🙂 Thanks to Neil Gascoigne for the heads-up.
