Powerful mid-drive motors combined with full suspension is the mark of an eMTB, or is it?
In this review of the MOD Black, we take a close look at this mid-tier e-bike that boasts a 350W Shengyi mid-drive motor. We test its climbing ability, battery range, braking and more to get an idea of how it performs in the real world.
Powering that 350W mid-drive motor is a 48V, 557Wh battery that’s partially integrated into the frame. There’s also a Shimano7-speed drivetrain, a Zoom hydraulic disk brakes and a rear rack with a 55lb weight rating.
