MOBOT’s founder Ifrey Lai shared the tough challenges faced in the last 3 years that almost made the business he started single-handedly in 2014 to the brink of collapse and losing it all overnight. From the enactment of the Active Mobility Act, to UL2272 certification, the ban of e-scooters on pedestrian paths and COVID-19, MOBOT went through highs and lows in a short period of time that only a "never give up" attitude would help pull it through.
Ifrey’s son, Bobby, who belongs to Generation Z, then continued to share about quitting school temporarily to help out his dad. This father and son team pushed it forward, implement new ideas, and guided the company through this tough time.
