Our PASELEC GS9 review set out to answer the question of how well a full-suspension eMTB performs when you keep the cost under $2K
The PASELEC GS9 comes equipped with a 500W rear hub motor, a 624Wh Panasonic battery, and a pair of Zoom Hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors. It’s a lot of bike for not a lot of money.
We put the GS9 through a series of tests to better understand the motor’s speed, hill-climbing capability, braking, handling, and more.
We found that the GS9 could suit the e-bike curious well who are looking at starter e-bikes. The biggest draw it has will be the full suspension design, which we think largely worked well for budget-priced componentry.
