Samsung presented a prototype solid state battery for electric vehicles.
The solid state batteries are smaller than lithium ion battery but can store greater energy density with less discharge rate. On a full charge these batteries can give 800 km range on a single charge.
These batteries are light weight, store great energy density and low discharge rate.
