I was just experimenting with some Legos and Servos. I built a simple machine with Lego Technics, A micro:bit micro controller with Crazy Circuits Bit Board expansion card, and Geek Servo brand servos.

micro:bit is a great little controller with REALLY easy to use "block" programming interface. There’s also plenty of free tutorials:

The Crazy Circuits Bit-Board expands the micro:bit with Lego compatibility, servo header pins, external power, a relay, and a few other cool features.
Crazy Circuits Bit Board Basic
I simply programmed the bit:board to change the position of the servo when I would press one of the two buttons on the board. Pressing both at the same time would change the position of the other servo, and then set a timer for when it would come back up.
I’m learning about this sort of thing, and at the same time teaching my ten year old daughter about it. She’s had a blast creating simple electronics projects.
I’d like to use some of these same types of components in the future to create remote controls for a lawn mower or possibly a mini ride-on Tesla Cybertruck.
