Short Race Report on Round #2 of the FMI Italian Championship E-Bike Cross, 2021

On May 29th 2021 the Qulbix Team took first, second and third place in the round two of the FIM Italian E-Bike Cross Championship in Verola Nuova, Italy in the open category.

Both races were close from start to finish, where two protagonists of the day alternated on the podium – in the first round Marco Gualdani (Gorlese Mario Colombo – Qulbix) won, while in second round Giuliano Boschi (La Rocca – Qulbix) took the lead and won first place in total.

In the first section Gualdani did not start very fast, but he was able to catch up, taking advantage of an error made by Ivan Clementi (Omega – Qulbix) which resulted in a crash.

In round 2 Gualdani got off to a better start, but Boschi found the right race pace, taking the lead and keeping it until the end.

Third on the podium and in both rounds was Mitja Sorn (RP Moto – Qulbix).

Red number plate landed in the hands of Giuliano Boschi, and is now on equal points with Sorn… so the next races will be exciting!
