An all new e-bike from Specialized, we had the chance at the 2021 Sea Otter Classic to take our first in-person look at the Specialized Turbo Tero 5.0. This review of the Specialized Turbo Tero 5.0 is a little shorter than our normal in-depth looks, but it’s still enough to get some good first impressions of the bike.
The new Tero was released alongside updated versions of the Turbo Como and Turbo Vado, Specialized’s flagship electric commuter bikes. Though it closely resembles a thoroughbred eMTB, the Tero has rack mounts and other features that make it a capable utility and city bike, too.
In this video we get a walkthrough of the new Turbo Tero by some of the Specialized staff, and we also get an intro to the new MasterMind display and Mission Control app.
