One of the most unique and eye-catching electric bikes we’ve reviewed this year, TheRide Radiant Carbon is a category-defying e-bike built by one of the most recognizable bicycle designers of the past three decades.
TheRide built just 350 of these bikes, and in this The Ride Radiant Carbon review, we put this e-bike to the test to see how it climbs, how long the battery lasts, and how it performs in real-world conditions. To sum up our results, the bike performed well, but the Radiant Carbon proved to be one of the most enigmatic e-bikes we’ve encountered. It’s designed to be a true jack-of-all-trades just as comfortable on a California boardwalk as it would be on a long-distance fitness ride, and because of this, it blurs the lines between categories in ways we haven’t quite seen before.
The Radiant Carbon is a premium e-bike with a Shimano STEPS e6100 mid-drive motor, a large 630Wh battery, Magura hydraulic disk brakes and a strikingly designed carbon fiber frame. It’s a cool bike that’s definitely worth a look.
