Desiknio X20 Pinion Review Short

While attending the (e)revolution electric bike show in Denver Colorado, I got to connect with Desiknio, and their parent company Stromer, to learn more about their X20 Pinion electric bike. They are selling a flat bar and gravel version of this platform and bringing it to the United States in Q3 of 2023. It uses the Mahle hub motor, is a Class 1 electric bike (pedal assist only, 25km/h top speed in Europe and 20mph top speed in North Ameria). Two frame sizes for the diamond high step frame and one smaller mid-step frame. Two color options, hydraulic disc brakes, integrated Supernova lights, carbon fiber fork, and the Pinion gearbox which is at the bottom bracket. This allows the bike to use a Gates Carbon belt drive, which tends to be very durable, quiet, and clean compared to traditional chains.
