I stopped by a friend’s property where she has two Ford 8N tractors parked. The second tractor looked very unusual. I’m interested in converting a tractor to electric, so this was a nice chance for me just to take a look at a few in person to see what might work. These Ford 8Ns are nice in that they are “old-school” with everything being mechanical, and the tractors themselves are common, easy to fix, and have lots of parts available.
If you wanted to convert a tractor to electric, which make and model would you convert?
