At the back-end of 2022, we travelled to the US gravel hotspot, Bentonville, Arkansas, to capture the American gravel racing debut of Axeon Hagens Berman’s homeboy, Michael Garrison.
What we ended up capturing was so much more than a mere race on a bicycle. After a number of tire problems derailed Michael’s dreams of glory, the 21-year-old native of Decatur, Georgia, went through a personal journey, intertwining a specific need for escapism, an intense hunger for speed, and a rekindling of family history.
This is why we ride and why BMC supports these athletes. Ultimately, this is why we Create Speed. But this is just the beginning… Enter Unbound 2023, coming soon…
