Ed Ditto sat down with us to recap his ride across America.
Ed Ditto is a writer, adventurer, and slow-traveller. After exploring his corner of the world by what he calls “slow travel”, a type of journeying that includes backpacking and bike touring, he took off on an Aventon Level ebike on a 5500 mile journey across the United States. Taking a much-less-than-direct route from Alabama to Oregon, Ed’s journey is an epic tale of the traveling storyteller, pitting bike and man against the vast countryside.
“I didn’t have to go seek out places like that necessarily, because I got enough hook into the locality that I could then go out and start to, like, strike sparks with people, and really, ya know, to my way of thinking, kinda figure the place out.”
