Steve started his MTB career as a downhill racer, having his first top-level taste in 1997 as a member of the GB World Championship DH Team. Back then things were simple, a mountain bike was a mountain bike and people even competed in multiple events such as Cross Country, Trials, and Downhill all on the same bike! Now we have different specific models of MTB as well as Full powered EMTB (Electric Mountain Bike) and Light/Mid-Weight EMTBs, but what is right for your riding?
