As part of Electrics at the Dragon, we hit the infamous Tail of the Dragon for a few laps! This is our first run, set at lower power for range testing and ensure round trip performance on continual climbing (the return trip is mostly uphill…) – + – + – + And so for this ride, we limited to 35% available battery power and 50% drive current limits to simulate a battery pack at the bottom of it’s charge.
You can ride between the lines and still have a blast – especially with no gears to miss and no power band to watch! Electric drive on a motorcycle gives you total freedom to twist and go, with easy and smooth transitions from power to brakes to power!
