The Brompton fold is held together by two important features: the lower stop disc and the fork hook.
Incorrectly fitting the hook will result in the bike not staying locked in a folded position:

Please note there are five different versions of the front axle hook.
• One for bikes with no mudguards or just a rear rack fitted 1:13
• One for bikes with mudguards 2:30
• One for electric bikes with 2 or 6 gears 2:54
• One for electric bikes fitted with the Advance rear frame 3:48
• One for T Line bikes 1:03
