The Ariel Rider MUDD is unlocked! In this video, I’m taking this high-powered electric bike to the next level by entering the unlock code, adjusting the advanced settings, and testing its acceleration, throttle strength, and top speed.
I’ve been riding the MUDD in its limited 20 MPH street mode, but now it’s time to see what this beast can really do. The results? Absolutely insane acceleration, serious torque, and a GPS-verified top speed of 57 MPH!
This is Stage 2 of my Ariel Rider MUDD ownership experience, where I explore the settings, experiment with different throttle start strengths, and find out what happens when you unleash the full power.

🚀 **ARIEL RIDER MUDD PERFORMANCE**
The MUDD delivers an incredible amount of torque. With throttle power and start strength turned all the way up, acceleration becomes intense enough to lift the front wheel. After adjusting the settings and testing again, I recorded a maximum of **57 MPH on GPS**, with the bike’s display briefly showing 58 MPH.
I also weigh the bike and discuss its substantial 152-pound weight, suspension performance, braking, motor noise, and how manageable it feels once you dial back the throttle settings.
This isn’t just about top speed. I’ll share what I learned during my first unlocked ride, including the settings that made the biggest difference and the areas I’m still investigating.
⚠️ **IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE:** These are performance tests, not a recommendation to ride at these speeds. High-speed electric bikes can be extremely dangerous, and applicable laws vary by location. Wear appropriate protective equipment and test performance only in a suitable, legal, controlled environment. Strong acceleration can lift the front wheel unexpectedly.
🏍️ **WHAT SHOULD I TEST NEXT?**
