Surface 604 Quad Review - .6k

https://electricbikereview.com/surface-604/quad/ The Surface 604 Quad Review is a hardtail urban cross country electric that’s straight out of the 1980’s with quadangle frame design! Available in two sizes for improved fit, with two battery options for extended range. Impressive 9-speed drivetrain with upgraded shifter and derailleur. Powerful 180mm hydraulic disc brakes with large dual piston calipers and electronic motor inhibitor switches on both levers. The criss-cross top tube design looks cool and improves frame stiffness for off-road use, even though the geometry is fairly upright for comfort. Shorter stem and low-rise bar mean you don’t have to lean forward so much. Upgraded 100mm spring suspension fork uses larger 32mm stanchions for strength and offers adjustable lockout and preload. Sturdy thru-axle with wider Boost hub spacing improves the front wheel strength, along with wider spokes on both wheels. Blinged out gold colored pedals, chain, and cassette really complete the look here, it’s more artistic and fun than a lot of competing products. Plus sized 27.5" x 2.8" tires offer improved stability, traction, and comfort, and S604 went with upgraded Maxxis Rekon+ for puncture protection and brown skinwall sidewalls that complete the look. Excellent kickstand, saddle, and grip selection here. Two full sized USB charging ports (one on the display and one on the battery pack). Integrated 120 lux headlight is perfectly positioned with a custom bracket, and the bike is pre-wired for an optional rear light that comes with their rack. Optional aluminum alloy fenders keep you dry. Drawbacks include heavier weight, slightly higher price, no derailleur guard, hard to reach bottle cage, and no slap-guard included.
