We went up to South Lake Tahoe, to check out some familiar trails that burned in the Caldor Fire last summer. It’s a complicated experience, being in a burn zone–shocking and sad to see the land so charred and changed, but also incredibly interesting and inspiring to see how quickly nature bounces back. And, visually stunning to boot, of course. Huge credit goes to @tambatahoe for getting this trail back online, so quickly and effectively.
