This video is about 10 commonly added Vespa accessories to make your riding experience even better.
1. Phone Mount – we recommend the RAM system. We have small (https://shop.vespaportland.com/ram-mount-phone-holder-small.html) available on our website, as well as large (https://shop.vespaportland.com/ram-mount-phone-holder-set-large.html). Video on how to build it is here: https://youtu.be/79ww4iEwACg?si=mzKB3oDZ3PrFJloC
2. Flat Rear Rack – A great rack to add if you plan on adding a more
permanent storage option.
3. Folding Rear Rack – A great rack to add if you want temporary storage, or some support for a passenger. Here’s a clamp to hold it open: https://shop.vespaportland.com/prima-luggage-rack-holder.html
4. Top Case – Vespa makes a whole range of these that are color matched to the specific scooter. They really level up your storage options.
5. Front Rack – Same as a folding rear rack but for the front of the scooter. Sometimes purchased solely for aesthetics. Sometimes for storage. Sometimes for both. Here’s a clamp to hold it open: https://shop.vespaportland.com/prima-luggage-rack-holder.html
6. Windscreen – Keep the wind and rain off of you. Make your scooter look great. Or both! https://youtu.be/LZi1Ad4IbLk?si=45-VFO0FIsE1JTJg
7. Cowl guards and Leg shield guards – Guard your scooter against life’s bumps and scrapes.
8. Brake light modulator – Be seen on the road! We highly recommend these for urban riding. Want to install it yourself? Here’s the link in our webstore: https://shop.vespaportland.com/brake-light-flasher-modulator.html
9. Heated grips – Treat your fingers to the gift of year-round warmth. These are so nice to have. Let your local shop install them though, they’re a bit of a pain for a do-it-yourself-er. https://youtu.be/4JFjDa7YFfE?si=jJa83di7EYfom4gS
10. Euro turn signals – If you dislike those little bolt on turn signal pods you can clean up the look of your scooter with a euro turn signal kit. Another one that looks great, and is best left to your local shop unless you’re pretty handy.
