This is the imported 15kw continuous rated hub motor available on our top-performance retrofit motorcycle. The peak rating gave the equivalent of 48 horsepower when road testing on the highways – link to that video included.
Yes, after this ride we put some grease on the squeaky places and the performance sounds video will show that improvement! It really is surprising how much of these little noises are coverd up by a combustion engine and the exhaust sounds that are no longer part of the ride.
It’s more likely to notice something going out of specs without all the bang-bang of an engine. The lack of vibration ensures longer lifetime and lower maintenance for all of the other components and connections on the rolling frame of the motorcycle.
