One of the BIGGEST questions we’re getting after the new LTA rules started is:
๐ โDo I need an AMS / Certificate of Medical Need (CMN)?โ
Hereโs the simple answer ๐
โ If you’re using a ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ and are ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ years old, you will generally need a valid AMS / CMN unless you’re exempted.
โ If you’re ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ & ๐๐๐๐๐, you’re automatically exempted from the AMS requirement.
โ Certain beneficiaries under government mobility and disability assistance schemes are also exempted.
โ ๏ธ Important:
The AMS / CMN requirement applies to ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ only, and not Electric Wheelchairs.
