Let’s walk through the startup sequence with the Shandoka motorcycles gas to electric conversion system. Our patented adapter and modular battery design makes it safe and predictable to convert a motorcycle to electric drive power. Our systems and batteries are forever upgradable, and will be as functional in 50 years as they are today – that’s the way a motorcycle should be built.
This build has a 15kw hub motor powered by a 96V Max / 80V nominal custom battery pack built by @vextrek6036 on a VIN listed 1982 Yamaha Maxim 400 frame.
We are fully engineered for the Kawasaki Ninja 250 motorcycle platform as well. We offer a 12kw direct-fit motor as well as the 15kw package shown with a custom swingarm, and will begin development of our Virago retrofit series this summer of 2023.
All of the operations can be personalized for the rider, including switch types and location, digital or analog instruments, component choices for electrical, operational, and safety systems, and more.
