Is Cycling Now Also a True Winter Sport?

During mid-February, the LFT Crew cycled across Austria on their BMC gravel bikes. On their border to border tour they cycled 840km and 7,500vm within four days. Starting every morning in the dark and mostly arriving at their destinations for the day during the night as well.

At this time of the year, Austrians usually just go skiing and only really go outdoors for winter sports. With this in mind, the LFT Crew wanted to show that cycling is not just a sport for warmer climates. The Crew cycled over the Arlberg Pass (1,700m), which is renowned for being a major skiing area – and therefore probably one of the best places to highlight the stark contrast between cycling and traditional winter sports.
