Just 40 minutes from Portland, along Hwy 26 towards Mt. Hood, are the Sandy Ridge Trails. @sarkapancochova gives us a taste of her favorite lap – Little Monkey- and a few local tips for the area

• Get coffee at Ant Farm in Sandy
• Once you get to the Sandy Ridge car park, peddle up the access road.
• Little Monkey is one is only about 1 mile and 400 ft of vert. It’s pretty gradual and the climb goes by quite fast.
• This trail is made for riders that are comfortable on blue runs.
• It is a great trail for learning how to jump, and ride berms.
• Across the road from the trail system is a river that’s really nice to chill at after all day of riding.
