The NEW Ariel Rider Grizzly 72V is one seriously powerful electric bike! In this full review and performance test, I take the all-new 72V Ariel Rider Grizzly out on the road to test its acceleration, top speed, brakes, suspension, ride quality, display, dash cam, turn signals, and overall performance.

With dual 72V battery packs totaling 45Ah / 3,240Wh, a 95A controller, and a 3,000W direct-drive motor rated for up to 8,000 peak watts and 250Nm of torque, the Grizzly has no shortage of power.

I test all three ride modes — Eco, Sport, and Boost — including acceleration runs and a 0-40 MPH test. I also verify the top speed with GPS, and this fully unlocked Grizzly reached approximately 61 MPH GPS!

The biggest takeaway? The 72V Grizzly isn’t just about raw power. It’s surprisingly smooth, quiet, stable, and controllable for a bike capable of reaching around 60 MPH. Compared with the original 52V dual-motor Grizzly, this new 72V version feels much more refined and motorcycle-like.

I also cover some of the downsides, including the heavy weight, display visibility with polarized sunglasses, small control buttons, kickstand angle, and the process of unlocking the bike for full-speed off-road use.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: This bike was fully unlocked for the performance testing shown in this video. It comes configured with speed restrictions, and unlocking it requires following Ariel Rider’s requirements and signing the appropriate waiver. Always follow local laws and ride responsibly.

I’ll be testing the Grizzly’s real-world range in a follow-up video, so make sure to SUBSCRIBE and turn on notifications so you don’t miss it!
