In this video, we take the RX1E electric motorcycle by CSC Motorcycles for a thrilling ride on the busy Los Angeles freeway. The RX1E is a new and affordable electric bike that offers three modes of operation: Eco, Comfort and Sport. We have already shown you the benefits and limitations of Eco and Comfort modes in our previous videos. Now, we test the Sport mode, which is the fastest and most exciting mode, but also the one that consumes the most battery power.

We reached a top speed of 88 mph and got about 62 miles of range with about 5% battery left. The RX1E has a liquid-cooled permanent-magnet motor that delivers 24 hp and 61.2 lb-ft of torque. It has a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 6.16 kWh that can be charged in 6 hours on a standard 110-volt outlet. The bike has a tubular steel frame, inverted forks, dual disc brakes and LED lights.

The RX1E is arriving in Spring 2023 in three colors: Crimson Red Metallic, Pearl White Metallic and Matte Black Metallic. The MSRP is $8,495, but if you pre-order now with a $500 deposit, you can get a $500 discount. You can also have it shipped to your door for between $350 and $500.

If you are looking for an electric motorcycle that can handle highway speeds on a budget, the RX1E might be the one for you. Watch our video to see how it performs in Sport mode and let us know what you think in the comments. Don’t forget to like, share and subscribe for more electric motorcycle reviews.
