In this video, you’ll see the LEGIT Legend’s top speed test, 0-40 MPH acceleration, suspension performance, size comparison, and a quick comparison against the Magician Alpha.
The production Legend bike reached approximately 51 MPH during the top-speed test, slightly faster than the prototype’s roughly 50 MPH run.
The acceleration is also impressive. The Legend delivers a strong but controllable launch without trying to immediately lift the front wheel. The 0-40 MPH run was extremely quick, showing just how much power this 72V setup puts down.
The LEGIT Legend has a very soft, comfortable suspension setup that makes rough pavement and bumps feel surprisingly smooth. The suspension seat post is also a dropper post with a huge amount of travel, creating an unusual "floating" sensation while riding.
I also put the 24×4 LEGIT Legend side-by-side with several larger 26×4 fat tire e-bikes to show just how much difference the wheel size makes.
If you’re around 5’6"–5’8", the smaller 24-inch setup may be worth considering because these 140-pound high-power e-bikes can get extremely large.
🆚 LEGIT Legend vs Magician Alpha
I also compare the LEGIT Legend directly with the Magician Alpha, and surprisingly, their performance is very similar.

Similar acceleration
But there are some important differences.
The LEGIT Legend gets double-crown forks, larger 220mm brakes with 4-piston calipers, centered battery packs, factory turn signals, a dropper post, 9-speed gearing, and the gold wheels.
The Magician Alpha has some advantages of its own, including more display/programming options, app connectivity and additional settings.
🏆 Which One Would I Choose?
The two bikes are remarkably close in speed, power and acceleration, but the LEGIT Legend’s centered battery design and suspension setup make it feel more stable to me, especially at higher speeds.
The 24×4 wheel configuration also makes the Legend feel smaller and easier to manage than many 26×4 fat tire bikes.
