Today is #NationalEngineersDay. We celebrated it by getting our scooter to wish everyone on the occasion.
Here’s how it works:
The audio file saying “Happy Engineer’s Day” is stored on the scooter’s memory.
Our in-house built motor controller gets the motor to oscillate based on the sound file’s waveform.
The vibrations from the motor rapidly moving back & forth spreads to the rest of the frame of the scooter.
These vibrations spread to the air and hit our eardrums, making the wish audible.
P.S. we rerouted the brake switch to trigger the movement of the motor to make this all come to life!
