Welcome to the FOCUS Workshop Series! In this video, Olly shows you step by step how to easily remove and replace the battery from your FOCUS e-bike. No matter if you have a FOCUS SAM², JAM² 6. series or 8. series – the process is the same for all three bikes.
Removing the battery in 3 easy steps:
1. Open the buckle mechanism.
2. Flip open the battery cover. If locked, unlock the battery lock.
3. Open the locking mechanism on the strap and pull out the battery at the same time.
To insert the battery, simply follow the 3 steps in reverse order.
It is important that the battery locking mechanism engages securely to ensure a safe ride. However, additional locking is not necessary.
