The Himiway D5 Ultra, also known as the Rhino, is a fat tire commuter bike with dual batteries and a powerful 1,000W mid-drive motor. In this Himiway D5 Ultra review, we take a look at the bike’s specs, components, and real-world performance.
With not one, but TWO 48V, 720Wh batteries, the Rhino can cover extremely long distances. Range is just one of the aspects of the bike we tested – but you’ll have to watch to find out what happened!
The D5 Ultra weighs a hefty 104 lbs, making it one of the largest and heaviest e-bikes we’ve tested. Its size coupled with custom 26”x4.5”-wide tires made it feel extremely stable and solid on the road.
But don’t let its size fool you, this is an impressively comfortable bike! We were big fans of the Rhino’s ergonomic rubber grips and wide, cushy saddle.
