JupiterBike Discovery X7 Review - .2k

The JupiterBike Discovery X7 is a six-speed folding electric bike made from light weight magnesium alloy, offers pedal assist and throttle modes. Mid-sized hybrid tires and adjustable bumper suspension for the rear wheel improve comfort and make the bike unique. Solid one year warranty. Cast magnesium wheels are extra tough, and won’t go out of true the way traditional wire spokes can. A magnetic clasp holds the bike together when folded, so it won’t rattle around during transport. The company has been around since 2016. Unique and effective electronic horn (built into the back of the headlight). Very small and light battery charger, the pack can be charged on or off the bike. Comes with fenders, and they sell an optional rear rack with other accessories. Basic derailleur and mechanical disc brake components, but they function well and match the low price. Display is not removable, and does not offer USB charging. Low capacity battery pack offers limited range. Only sold online, but there’s no assembly required. Tires are not reflective or puncture resistant. Top speed is roughly 16mph vs. 20mph on competitors.
