OHM Cruise 2 Review - $4k

The OHM Cruise 2 is a fully equipped step-thru cruiser that’s sportier, sturdier, and stiffer than most. The tubular aluminum alloy fenders are wide and long, providing excellent coverage. The rear rack can handle heavier loads, is Racktime accessory compatible, and includes bungee loops. Two bottle cage mounts, locking Ergon grips, and a friendly bell complete the package. Excellent Schwalbe tires offer puncture resistance and reflectivity for elevated performance and safety. Thru-axles are thicker and stronger than an average skewer, and both offer quick release. Quality Shimano 180mm hydraulic disc brakes with adjustable reach levers. Headlight is mounted high on the handlebar, won’t get blocked by the fender. Rear light uses two LEDs and has side windows for greater visibility. High capacity battery fits neatly into the downtube, keeping weight low and center. The bike comes with a 4 amp fast charger. The frame is available in three frame sizes and two colors. Efficient and reliable Shimano E7000 mid-drive motor and Shimano Deore 10-speed 11-36 tooth 10-speed drivetrain. Excellent warranty and reputation with a growing dealer network. The battery charge port is low on the left side of the frame, requiring a bit more effort to plugin and exposing it to more dust, water, and the rotation path of the crank arm. To charge the battery off the bike, you need to use a dongle adapter that could be easy to misplace. No suspension fork, which reduces cost and weight, consider adding a suspension seat post. No smartphone app without paying for additional hardware.
