This year while visiting the GoPro Mountain Games in Vail Colorado, my Mom and I decided to join the eBike Challenge eMTB race. This was the first race I have ever taken part in, and we got lost half way through… It was really fun, but also pretty challenging because of the steep sections and aggressive switchbacks. The total distance was eight miles and my Mom and I were loaned Cannondale electric bikes, I was riding the Moterra Neo with 160mm travel. These bikes used Bosch motors and Bosch was the race sponsor. I also spotted some Specialized and Shimano powered ebikes. There were actual pros in this race, and keep in mind it was conducted at high altitude! Some of the guys really flew.
