The Evelo Delta X ebike is a class 2/3 ebike with both pedal assist and a thumb throttle that will support speeds up to 20mph or 28mph if you adjust the speed limit (pedal assist only). This is an excellent bike for those looking for a bike that is not only powerful and performance ready but comfortable to ride as well. The Evelo Delta X comes in only 1 color and that is in the shown dark red and black look that we find absolutely jaw-dropping. There is only one frame size, but this frame will be able to suit riders ranging from 5’2" to 6’2" comfortably.
The Delta X comes with an Enviolo CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) drivetrain designed by NuVinci Technology. We are huge fans of this transmission as it delivers a low maintenance, smooth, and reliable shifting experience that will never let you down.
The Delta X is powered by a powerful 750W mid drive motor. This is hands down one of the more powerful bikes we have ridden by delivering 120Nm of torque, all the while still being able to keep that power under control. Evelo also gives you a bright LCD display that shows you the charge indicator, speedometer, odometer, trip odometer, pedal assist level, and wattmeter.
Evelo beautifully engineered the frame of the Delta X with hydroformed 6061 aluminum tubing that showcases the battery while not having it stick out. The smooth and low weld marks also show just how much attention to detail Evelo put into the Delta X, as well as their other bikes.
Overall, we find Evelo Delta X ebike to be an extremely powerful, fun, and adventurous bike with plenty of stability. Evelo did a good job of finding the tri-fecta of power, performance, and comfort that we desire. With such a versatile range of components, we believe this bike is an excellent choice for all around usage.
